Andrew started Synergy Safety Systems in April 2014 in response to the requirement that Small-Medium sized businesses required a range of health and safety support and assistance from a ‘Competent Person’ in a way that was both personable and cost-effective.

As an experienced and commercially minded health and safety practitioner, Andrew has the ability to communicate and understand the requirements of diverse business needs and converse at all levels. An analytical, conscientious and meticulous work ethic is adopted for Clients, with the initiative and drive to deliver the most effective and cost prudent results possible.

Previous experience has been gained across a variety of sectors including construction and housing, with the proven ability to develop policies and procedures to OHSAS 18001 standard and assist in attaining various company accreditations, including CHAS, Achilles, EXOR and Constructionline.

Andrew has also played a significant role in business development for clients, assisting in bid submissions to include overall bid management and the writing of bid method statements for quality sections of bids. Success has been enjoyed securing a number of local authority contracts that has generated business for principal contractor clients and the sub-contractor supply chain.
