CDM 2015 – How contractors and duty-holders are coping with the changes

The amendments to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations CDM 2015 came into effect in April 2015 and placed a burden to builders in terms of new health and safety responsibilities.

blog3It is now compulsory for designers and builders working on domestic premises, to develop a Construction Phase Plan (CPP) for all building work being carried out. This apply to everything from a contractor who is fitting a new kitchen to the construction of a new extension.
